Before using IDEAS Property Clerk for the first time, please take a few minutes to read these important notes about the setup and operation of the software.
Important Notes

| 2. | The Initial Setup: Easy Start Setup Options section of this help file will provide information about preparing your initial setup of IDEAS Property Clerk Enterprise. You should take the time to review these options before attempting to enter your properties or clients |
| 3. | Since IDEAS Property Clerk Enterprise is a Property Management Accounting Solution, a Chart of Accounts is required. The Accounting Setup section describes how to prepare the financial information to be used by the system. Specifically, your chart of accounts and key control accounts should be setup before proceeding with other data entry. |
| 4. | IDEAS Property Clerk includes built-in security options that can be assigned to each user. Information about setting up users and assigning security is found in the Administrator's Guide. |
