Document Processing: Creating Letters

IDEAS Property Clerk Enterprise is packaged with it's own word processor which is fully integrated with the software. The IDEAS Word Processor is compatible with Microsoft Word documents and contains many features you would expect to find in a word processor which are explained in more detail in the next section Using the IDEAS Word Processor. These features include:

1.Formatting - Common to most word processors, the IDEAS Word Processor can format text font and paragraphs. Bullets and numbering are also available, as is font and document coloring options. Tables can be easily created as well.
2.File Formats - The IDEAS Word Processor is capable of saving files in the popular Microsoft Word format (.doc) so that you can easily work with documents created in Microsoft Word, as well as, create Microsoft Word documents in the IDEAS Word Processor. Other popular file formats include Rich Text Format (.rtf) and Plain Text (.txt). Furthermore, the IDEAS Word Processor is capable of exporting documents that you create to the popular Portable Document Format or PDF.
3.Inserting Files - The IDEAS Word Processor can import other text files and images directly into a document.
4.Document Templates - Document templates are templates that you create with the IDEAS Word Processor to easily generate letters for Clients and Vendors. Examples of templates you may want to create are Late Fee and Arrears letters for Clients that are late in paying their invoices. These templates can be set up to merge with Client or Vendor information that you input into Property Clerk Enterprise so that you are not wasting valuable time generating these letters manually.
