What Are Client Notes and Tasks?
Client Notes and Tasks are items that are attached to the client files that can be used for a number of purposes. These items could include general notes about client correspondence, notes about telephone calls, keeping track of Ownership %, parking locations, and any other note your organization may need to track.
The notes and tasks feature can also be used as a reminder system and display the task on the Calendar.
By using the system options to customize the available categories, you should find this to be a very powerful module within IDEAS Property Clerk Enterprise.
How to Enter or Edit a Client Note or Task:
| 1. | Enter the client module (Open/Edit the client) |
| 2. | Select the Notes/Task Tab |
| 3. | Use the available options to create a New Note, Edit Note or Delete Note. |

Once the New Note or Edit Note is selected, you will be presented with the Appointment Note screen. This screen is used for entering Client Notes, Property Notes, Unit Notes or Calendar items.
Since you are creating or editing the note from the client module, the system will automatically assign this note to the selected client.
